Andrew Popa comes to Mosaic International from World Vision International where he most recently served as senior director of operations for the Middle East, Eastern Europe and South Asia. He has a background in healthcare and service delivery, with more than 15 years in management and senior-level positions. His background includes successfully building the first private hospital in Romania and working with the poor and refugees in war-torn regions of the Middle East and Asia.
A native of Romania, Andrew escaped as a refugee during the communist era. After two years as a refugee, he came to the United States where he earned an associate degree in nursing, a bachelor’s in business administration from Regis University, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom.
As Mosaic’s Vice President of International Relations, Andrew will oversee resource development for Mosaic’s international programs, identify projects that align with Mosaic’s vision and be liaison to Mosaic’s international partners.
